Sargassum Season Is Almost Over In Cancun

Beautiful beach in Cancun

Municipal authorities now have several methods to contain the little amount of sargassum that is predicted to come to Cancun in the rest of this year. Authorities in Tulum have set up several sargassum containment barriers, whilst Cancun and Playa del Carmen have continued to use sargassum removal boats to monitor and dispose of excess seaweed.

Today you can enjoy sargassumm-free beaches in most of these locations. In Cancun Playa Delfines and Playa San Miguelito, which are the most popular for locals and tourists, are as beautiful as they could be and ready to welcome visitors! And even if sargassum comes back, which it normally does, despite the time of the year, there’ll always be a beach free of seaweed in Cancun.

Nonstop flights

More and more nonstop flights to Cancun are being made available from all parts of the world. Especially the U.S. has been recently updating its flights to Cancun. Raleigh–Durham International Airport in North Carolina and Valley International Airport in Harlingen, Texas have reopened their direct flights to Cancun for the holidays. This will carry on in other airlines restating their flights to Cancun, just as the Kansas City International Airport will begin operating flights to Cancun in the upcoming March.
